To connect to WiSpot, please follow these simple steps:
Start up your notebook/laptop and make sure you have a Wi-Fi card inserted into the PCMCIA slot at the side of your notebook/laptop or go directly to step 2 if you are using a Wi-Fi enabled Laptop (with internal Wi-Fi).
If you are using Wi-Fi enabled Laptop, make sure the WLAN enabled (WiFi 802.11bg) is turned on. In the network setting for your WLAN card, set the SSID (network name) to WiSpot.
Open a web browser and you should automatically be directed to the WiSpot home page. Its browser will then refresh to the Login page. Please take note to enable pop ups to appear.
Enter the voucher code given (purchased online or prepaid voucher) then start surfing.
What do I need?
To access WiSpot, your gadget must be WiFi compatible with 802.11b/g enabled or if your gadget does not have the hardware for wireless connection, you can simply insert an external WiFi network card into the device. The WiFi network card can be purchase at any IT store.
